1. Controller and contact

Barcode Generator is operated by Day to Day Apps. Privacy enquiries can be sent to [email protected].

2. Barcode generation

Basic barcode generation, visual settings and file export run locally in your browser. Entered barcode values are not sent to our server merely to generate an image.

3. Accounts and Supabase

If you create an account, Supabase processes your email address, authentication data, saved barcodes, templates, printer profiles and print jobs. These data are used to provide account features and are not sold.

4. Browser storage

We use essential browser storage for settings and workflows that you start. It is not used to sell your barcode data.

barcode-theme stores your light or dark theme preference.
decoder.scanMap.v1 stores up to 1,000 decoder history entries locally in your browser.
barcode-cookie-consent stores whether you accepted or rejected analytics and whether a separate advertising decision is required.
bc_pending_code is created only when you choose to save a barcode while signed out. It keeps the barcode and its settings for no more than 24 hours so the save can finish after you sign in.

5. Analytics and advertising

Google Analytics 4 is loaded only after you consent to analytics. We use it to measure page and tool journeys and aggregate actions such as generating or exporting a barcode. Analytics event payloads do not include barcode values, saved account data or email addresses.

Google AdSense units are currently disabled because no valid advertising slot identifiers are configured. If advertising is enabled later, an analytics-only decision will not activate ads. The site will request the required advertising consent before loading AdSense.

6. Retention and your rights

Account data are retained while the account exists. You can export your data, update your email or password, and permanently delete the account from the account dashboard. You may also request access, correction or deletion by email.

7. Service providers

We use Cloudflare for hosting and security, Supabase for authentication and database storage, and Google for consented analytics or advertising. Each provider may process technical information under its own privacy terms.
